New Season New Members for Choir and Orchestra Collegium Musicum
After the summer break, the international members of Collegium Musicum return in September to prepare for their Christmas concerts. This year’s programme includes Joy Has Dawned – a sequence of carols – alongside Vivaldi’s Winter and Sarasate’s Carmen Fantasia, with violinist Geoffrey Silver as guest soloist.
New singers and instrumentalists are warmly invited to join. Rehearsals are held every Tuesday evening at the Danish Church in Las Lagunas, Mijas Costa. Please come and try a rehearsal!

Audiences in Fuengirola and Marbella were treated to an evening of exceptional music as Collegium Musicum, under the inspired direction of Delyth Bressington, delivered two unforgettable performances.
Celebrating 50 years of Collegium Musicum Costa del Sol
Fifty years. Half a century. It’s a span that encompasses countless melodies, harmonies, and rhythms that have resonated in this part of Spain. Think back to where it all began – a small group of passionate individuals with a shared dream, a simple desire to make music together. And look at us now! A vibrant and thriving truly international community, still bound by that same love of music.
Majestic Mozart – A Celebration of Genius
We are very excited to invite the Costa del Sol community to 2 special concerts to celebrate our Golden Anniversary in two beautiful settings in Fuengirola and Marbella. The performances of Mozart’s “Great” C minor Mass and Symphony no 40 will feature guest soloists from Málaga, Italy and Scotland. Together with our choir and orchestra will deliver a night of exceptional music that is sure to delight the audience.
A Joyful Celebration of Christmas Music
On the evenings of Sunday, December 8th, in Fuengirola, and Tuesday, December 10th, in Marbella, Choir and Orchestra Collegium Musicum under the direction of Delyth Bressington delivered a Christmas concert series that left audiences leaving in high spirits. Both performances played to full houses, with standing ovations and radiant smiles marking the end of each evening.

Our guest violinist is 14 year old prodigy Inés Maro Burgos Babakhanian, the winner of the 5th Young Performers Competition “City of Estepona 2023” who will be playing Camille Saint-Saens’ Violin Concerto No.3, Op.61. with the Orchestra Collegium Musicum.
